If you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous views, you’ll be equally as impressed with the inside of the cosy yet modern accommodation. Cosy up on the sofa by the log burner and relax after the day’s explorations, or lounge on the comfy double bed in front of the TV. During the summer months you won’t be able to resist relaxing and unwinding on your own private decked area. Enjoy your morning coffee in the fresh country air, try a spot of al-fresco dining, or round off the day with a glass of wine as you watch the sun set.

At the centre of the hut you’ll find a seating area, complete with a log burner to keep you toasty warm. A comfy two seater sofa is accompanied by a handy coffee table, the perfect spot to relax after a busy day exploring, or cosy up on a lazy winter morning.

Offering everything you need for a short break, the kitchen area comes fully equipped with a sink, fridge, hot plate hob, microwave, toaster and a kettle. If you’d prefer to eat out, head to one of the excellent country pubs within a few minutes drive of the hut.

Get a good night’s sleep in the comfortable double bed and cosy bedding, which is situated at one end of the Shepherd's Hut. The bed area also features a 50inch wall mounted smart TV, so you can catch up on all of your favourite series as you relax.

At the other end of the hut you’ll find a small but excellently appointed shower room which features a powerful shower, plus a basin & WC. Towels are included so there’s no need to worry about bringing your own.

The quaint stable-door of the hut opens out onto your very own generously sized decking area, which affords views over the picturesque rolling Staffordshire countryside and woodland of the National Forest. Outdoor furniture is provided in this area, making it the perfect spot for al-fresco dining, a lazy morning coffee, or a glass of wine to round off the day.

The perfect setting for a holiday with your horse! Pear Tree Cottage is situated within the grounds of well-known equestrian centre Eland Lodge – a haven for the equestrian enthusiast. A paddock is situated directly below the Shepherd's Hut, so you can gaze out over your equine companion as you unwind. Eland Lodge boasts an exceptional cross country course, arenas, competitions & training clinics.
